The disc

Stainless steel. No plastic, no coating.

It works with any iPhone XS or later, running iOS 17 or above.

No. It's a passive NFC tag — no power source, ever.

Yes, in most cases. Thick or metal cases can reduce range. Keep the disc within a few centimetres of the top-back of your phone, where the NFC reader sits.

No. The disc is locked to the Norma app — and that's exactly what makes it reliable.

The app

On the App Store, search “Norma” — or download it straight from our app page.

Open the app, create your account, then choose “Add a disc” and hold it against the top-back of your iPhone. The app walks you through the rest — it takes less than a minute.

Your account stores your disc configuration and keeps your setup safe across reinstalls and new devices.

Hold the disc flat against the top-back of your phone. If it still won't connect, restart the app and try again — or email us a short video of what's happening and we'll help.

Yes. You pick which apps each Focus mode restricts. The disc simply triggers it.

No. The app is required to configure and activate the NFC behaviour.

The app asks for three things:
  • NFC — to read your disc when you scan it.
  • Notifications — to confirm when a Focus session starts or ends.
  • Screen Time / Family Controls — to block distracting apps while the disc is active. This is what enables the actual restriction.
No usage data is ever collected or shared.

Orders & shipping

We ship within 24–48 hours. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Yes. Shipping cost and delivery time vary by destination and are shown at checkout.

Check your spam folder first. If there's nothing there, contact us and we'll sort it out.

Contact us as soon as possible at support@nor.ma. We'll do our best, though we can't guarantee changes once an order is processed.

Yes — you can return it for a full refund of the price you paid; return shipping is covered by you. If there's a defect or a mistake on our end, get in touch and we'll make it right.
